Rogers outage leaves some Canadian customers without internet, phone service

Rogers wireless customers are reporting a massive outage Monday morning, with some people saying they are unable to make calls or use the internet.

The outage reports are largely stemming from Ontario. But there are reports in B.C., Alberta, Quebec and the east coast as well.

Rogers took to Twitter, announcing the service interruption, saying their team is “quickly working to restore services as soon as possible.”

The communications company said the outage is also affecting Fido customers.

There is still no word on when service will be restored.

Some customers reported the outage on Twitter.

Global News reached out to Rogers for a comment but did not hear back at the time of publication.
