Guyanese national basketball players, Akeem Crandon and Israel Yaw, incurred their third consecutive loss, as ASA College went down to Suffolk Community College on Wednesday December 16th.
In what was their final collegiate match of 2021, the duo was unable to prevent their team from losing 49-66 to the home side at the Ammerman Campus.
ASA College of New York went on a 5-0 undefeated run before stumbling to three consecutive losses, which included defeats to Eastern Florida State [36-78] and Raritan Valley Community College [72-88].
ASA College, to date, has recorded wins against University of Connecticut at Avery Point, Dutchess Community College, Essex County College, Union County College and Hostos Community College. The team will now turn their attention to Orange County Community College on Monday.
