Up-and-coming Rastafarian singjay Jah Lama is happy to have signed with Pandemic Records.

The singjay, who hails from Crawle River district in Clarendon, has inked a deal with the burgeoning label which is owned and operated by his fellow Clarendonians, Sheldon and Leroy Edwards.

“I am happy that the owners of Pandemic Records believe in my talent and are willing to invest in my career. I’ve been working with the label for a while now and they’ve put a lot of promotion behind the projects that I’ve done for them in the past. Now that I am signed to the label, I know that the support will be even greater,” said Jah Lama.

Sheldon Edwards said he and his team plan to go all out to make Jah Lama a household name in Jamaican music.

“It is all hands on deck right now where Jah Lama’s career is concerned. We believe in his talent, and we are fully committed to doing everything to make him a star. We are leaving no stones unturned,” he said. “We are a small, independent label, but we are going big in terms of approach to artiste development, music production, and marketing. Right now, Jah Lama is in [the] studios recording tracks for his first full-length project, and we are also preparing him for an upcoming promotional tour.”

Jah Lama is currently promoting a new single titled Fighter, which was produced by Pandemic Records on the ‘Things and Time’ rhythm. This song was released on January 20.
