Rumie is a no-cost, digital library of micro-courses, empowering anybody with a mobile device to build critical 21st-century skills in minutes. For us, education is not about profit, it’s about unleashing the potential in everyone.

Our library focuses on the types of life and career skills that we don’t learn in school (but wish we did).

We work with volunteers to transform important insights into Bytes that are as engaging and scrollable as social media.

We leverage data and machine learning to deliver recommendations and personalized content, creating a learning experience that feels more fun than an online class.

We work with partners like internet service providers, to meet modern learners where they already are – through public WiFi (while waiting for a bus or even in a laundromat) or skills training programs infused with Rumie Bytes. So that every person has access to free and open learning, that’s easy.

We are funded by corporate partnerships and non-profit organizations that believe in our mission.

We are doing significant work globally, including in Afghanistan and for Afghan refugees coming to Canada.

We’re a tight-knit team dedicated to empowering 1 million learners by the end of 2021. Here is your opportunity to be a part of the team that helps us get there.
