Children’s Book : The Dragon Detectives: The Disappearance of the Rainbow Peacock

Princess Lilac awoke the next day with a smile on her face. Her amethyst eyes were filled with wonder as she thought about what she and Pretty Bow would play today. Throwing her covers back, Princess Lilac turned towards the rainbow peacock’s cage.

“Good morning, Pretty….” Princess Lilac’s eyes widened in horror at what she saw. Instead of the majestic rainbow peacock resting peacefully in her cage, Princess Lilac only saw one lone pink feather and the lock on the cage door destroyed. Though the princess was young, she was no fool. At the top of her lungs where everyone in the castle would surely be able to hear, Princess Lilac screamed, “Someone kidnapped Pretty Bow!”
