Description
Tracking of target markets (energy, infrastructure & communications)
Liaise with project sponsors, financial advisors, and debt arrangers in order to identify and select opportunities
Execute target transactions in cooperation with the global PF business line at Head Office
Analyze opportunities for submission to the Bank’s credit function and senior management for approval (market and credit research, modeling, analytical assessment of risk)
Post approval execution of transactions including negotiation and finalization of documentation
Ongoing monitoring of portfolio performance for internal and regulatory purposes
Participate in planning, forecasting and internal communication
Periodic and ad hoc reporting and analysis for internal and outside parties
Implementation and tracking of the Bank’s policies pertaining to ESG goals and compliance
Collaborate with support staff
Support the growth of the Bank’s project finance business in the Americas Build and maintain a portfolio of project finance transactions
Engineering, business, finance and/or accounting degree or qualification
5-8 years’ experience in project finance credit analysis and deal execution, preferably at a financial institution or rating agency
In-depth knowledge and experience with the project finance loan market, namely credit structures, legal frameworks, industry regulation, and documentation
Established credit, financial modeling and analytical capacity
Strong written and oral communication skills

Expected salary: $120000 – 150000 per year
