Job description: This individual will be responsible for supervising a large audit portfolio specifically within the technology/cyber area while leading junior team members. This candidate will be driving technical and leadership skills among the team.

Description

This role includes Supervising the Technology Audit team with a large focus around Cyber Security initiatives, being a true Technical Leader and interface to the rest of the business, and mentoring/developing the junior staff IT Auditors.Below are some more details around the daily responsibilities:

  • Effectively prioritize and supervise a large portfolio of Technology Audits from everything around fieldwork timing, reporting, budget, etc.
  • Work closely with IT leadership team to track the progress of audit recommendations and solutions.
  • Continue to develop personal IT expertise by leveraging existing knowledge around IT control processes, relevant technologies, cloud computing, cybersecurity, machine learning, and more.
  • Work closely with junior team members to ensure they are developing their technical subject matter expertise as well.
  • Responsible for all areas of staff development (recruiting, training, mentoring, etc.)

  • 8+ years in Technology Audit or Technology Risk Management in a complex environment.
  • Banking/Financial Services experience is required to understand Investment Banking products, and key regulations.
  • Ideally an undergraduate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong enthusiasm and interest for emerging technologies (robotics, AI/ML, Cloud, etc.) and the cyber security field. **Prior experience/knowledge around these technologies is highly preferred
  • Familiarity with standard methodologies in a complex IT infrastructure environment.
  • Strong track record of managing people and projects in Technology Audit.
  • Must be passionate, hard working, a problem solver, and a can-do attitude!
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills (verbal and written), and ability to take and given constructive criticism.
