Job title: Temp-To-Perm IT Sourcing Manager at Reputable Real Estate Firm

Job description: Our client, a highly reputable and growing Real Estate firm, is looking to hire a temp-to-perm IT Sourcing Manager to manage a project pipeline. In this role, you will be interacting with stakeholders, procurement team members, and the legal department. You will interface with product and engineering stakeholders to assess current state, future needs and develop specifications and requirements to engage and negotiate with vendors. You will be expected to provide thought leadership to create and drive negotiation and sourcing strategy and will be responsible for initiatives from inception to completion including processing initiatives through Coupa (Reqs and POs) and the firm’s contract workflow tool. This role is remote for now and will eventually return to the NYC office.
RESPONSBILITIES
- Identify sourcing opportunities through stakeholder engagement, spend analysis, and contract data management
- Manage a pipeline of technology projects balancing priorities to meet business and timing objectives
- Interact with stakeholders to gather requirements and evaluate project scope
- Facilitate cross-team collaboration to ensure teams with related need / similar projects / shared vendors are in sync to maximize supplier value
- Develop appropriate go to market approach
- Draft RFx’s conduct RFx Process; Structure and analyze results; Review with stakeholders
- Develop negotiation strategy in conjunction with business leaders
- Conduct supplier negotiations and ensure business terms captured
- Process and facilitate the transaction through Coupa P2P and the contract workflow management tool
- Collaborate with legal team during legal review of contract
- Quantify and track savings
REQUIREMENTS
- Undergraduate degree
- 5+ years of experience in progressive procurement roles which include strategic sourcing
- Pior technology software or technology service sourcing & negotiations experience (e.g., pricing models, tiering and rebate structures, benchmarks and familiarity with common suppliers)
- Experience creating and running RFPs and conducting analysis
- Ability to express business terms into contract language
- Handle large tactical project volume and multitask with multiple stakeholders within IT (e.g., 15-20 projects)
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills (e.g., ability to analyze spend and usage and develop cost models / projections
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills; demonstrated ability to clearly and persuasively communicate ideas, issues and recommendations
- Comfortable presenting in front of senior stakeholders
- Self-driven and flexible
- MUST have direct experience using Coupa P2P
- Prior experience with a Contract Workflow tool is a plus
SALARY
$35-$45/hr. (DOE)
HOURS
8:30/9am-5:30/6pm (DOE) + Flexibility as needed
Expected salary: $35 – 45 per hour
