TECHNOLOGY FACILITATOR
QUALIFICATIONS: * Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related field and two years of experience as a trainer preferred
- Certified Google for Education Trainer and Microsoft Office Specialist or equivalent preferred
- Experience and understanding of integrating technology in the learning process and to support district operations
- Experience and/or demonstrated ability to teach adults and students
- Ability to communicate effectively, document processes, create written and digital training materials, provide support, and deliver training
- Broad knowledge of application software, operating systems, learning management systems, and technology devices, as used in educational environments
- Excellent professional development skills including communication, group facilitation, and training
- Experience with operational technology and an aptitude for troubleshooting basic hardware and software issues
- Understand the technology needs and organizational complexities of a large, future focused district
- Experience successfully managing projects, motivating teams, and meeting goals and timelines
- Ability to work flexible hours as projects and training schedules dictate
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable
SALARY: Salary Schedule – $49,078 to $58,894. The successful candidate will be eligible for a comprehensive benefit package including Health, Dental, Vision and Life Insurance, paid holidays, vacation and sick days, as well as any other applicable benefits.

REPORTS TO: Executive Director of Technology and Strategic Initiatives and assigned building Principals
SUPERVISES: Technology staff, contractors, and vendors as assigned
JOB GOAL: To coordinate technology initiatives and provide training and support in integrating K-12 technology
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop PD training schedule based on needed skills, required processes, approved applications, and new technologies.
- Serve as a trainer of trainers and provide districtwide PD to assist staff in their knowledge and use of technology and applications.
- Oversee assigned staff including district staff, contractors, and vendors.
- Assist in conducting workshops and sharing sessions for staff focusing on subject area and technology skill integration.
- Create and curate training resources for parents, students and staff (knowledge base, online forum, website, etc.).
- Remain current in technology skills, processes, applications, and technologies.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of an assessment instrument for staff development needs in technology.
- Work closely with technology and curriculum leadership and team members to deliver and support a comprehensive technology program.
- Oversee assigned staff including district staff, contractors, and vendors.
- Bring together internal and external resources to provide technology training districtwide.
- Provide timelines and progress reports on status, achievement, and effectiveness of goals.
- Lead technology-related initiatives and champion standardization, sustainability, safety and security and comply with state and federal guidelines for FERPA, COPPA, CIPA, Copyright, etc.
- Support the RCS Technology Services Program, Strategic Plan, and Beliefs in Action.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Director of Technology and Strategic Initiatives.
