Your Opportunity
Wellington Motors is an AutoCanada dealership. We are looking for a high-energy and versatile Social Media Representative to join our team! Reporting to the Management team, you will be responsible for responding to customers’ requests, supporting our tracking and analyzing of the performance of advertising campaigns, and ensuring that all marketing material are in line with our brand identity and standards. You will also be actively be creating content for dealership use on social media platforms such as Facebook, Kijiji, Instagram and Tiktok.
Please note this position has a wage of $16.00 per hour.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Develop strategies and tactics to build our brand and drive traffic to our website and front door.
- Develop creative emails to send to customers that generate engagement
- Deploy successful marketing campaigns and own their implementation from creation to execution.
- Support our brand ambassador program through our service department.
- Produce and edit video content for the dealership’s website as well as online customer requests
- Produce valuable and engaging content for our website and social media channels that attracts and converts our target groups.
- Shooting and editing inventory in an outdoor environment.
- Analyze consumer behavior and adjust e-mail and advertising campaigns accordingly.
- Other duties as required.
Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Post-Secondary Diploma or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 1 year+ of Marketing experience preferred.
- Must have a valid G Class driver’s license and safe driving history.
- Must be able to drive automatic and standard transmission vehicles.
- Intermediate level computer skills in MS Office products including Word and Excel, and ability to use Google Suite of Products.
- Experience with Adobe programs such as InDesign and PhotoShop.
- Graphic Design experience is a plus.
- Video Creation/Editing experience would be considered an asset.
- Ability to work independently in a large office environment as well as be part of a team.
- Detail oriented, self-motivated and resourceful.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required to interact with internal clients, key vendors and employees.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, handling multiple priorities, performing a variety of tasks and meeting required deadlines.
- Numerically literate, comfortable working with numbers, making sense of metrics and working with spreadsheets.
- Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement.
- Authorized to work in Canada and possess a valid and clean driver’s license.
- Some equipment provided.
