Course description: The learning objective of this first-year course explores how policy processes and frameworks need to be evaluated in light of the social context in which they are developed.

Sessional dates of appointment: January 1, 2022 – April 30, 2022
Salary: Sessional Lecturer I – $8,489.67; Sessional Lecturer I, Long Term – $8,869.25; Sessional Lecturer II – $9,085.58; Sessional Lecturer III – $9,301.90

Qualifications: Graduate degree in the field of Sociology required. Demonstrated leadership experience in this subject matter in the public sector required. Two years of teaching experience at the undergraduate or graduate level preferred.
Description of duties: Teaching at the graduate level, developing the syllabus, teaching three hours of classes weekly, providing weekly office hours for academic counseling of students, preparing and delivering course material, preparing and delivering assignments and tests, marking student work and submitting grades, and supervising TA(s) if applicable.
