Job description: Join a start-up and assist the Global Director of Sourcing with the implementation of SOP’s across the procurement function.

  • Support the Supply Chain by executing POs, ensuring a seamless purchase-to-pay process
  • Analyze components, packaging and finished good order quantities based on combination of production demand forecast, historical usage, pipeline inventory level and other key inputs such as run-out estimate and EOQ
  • Ensure on time delivers- provide weekly summaries of Open POs, ensuring that dates and quantities are updated based on supplier confirmations
  • Escalate risks to PO delivery dates as needed
  • Investigate any past due or open POs
  • Ensure 3 way matching – POs, receipts, invoices
  • Update supplier information such as MOQs, lead times, product ranges as needed
  • Negotiate price and payment terms with suppliers as needed
  • Identify and execute continuous improvement opportunities from a Procurement and overall business perspective for cost savings, inventory reduction and supply chain efficiencies
  • Track vendor performance KPIs

Role is Full Time Remote Start ASAP!

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or a similar field
  • 3+ years in sourcing, buying, or related analytical role
  • Proficient in ERP software, Netsuite a plus
  • Excellent Excel skills – ability to perform lookups, pivot tables
  • Strong project management skills in support of cross-functional team activities
  • Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively, while thriving in a remote environment
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both written and verbal
