What can I expect to do in this role? In this role you will:
- Provide team leadership in analysing client requirements for specific complex and technical environments and applications
- Lead the development of single or multi MSI package solutions
- Coordinate the technical requirements and development of business solutions based on client supplied software and information.
- Ensure adherence to standards of all IT components of business solutions for cost effectiveness, support strategies and performance issues
How do I qualify?
Knowledge: • you have knowledge of I&IT technology development, implementation, operations management and security, and emerging technologies to assess client needs, lead projects, and provide expertise
- you have knowledge of workflow, asset and delivery management, including planning, estimating, budgeting, scheduling, measuring, monitoring, controlling and reporting
- you have knowledge of development methodologies, database design and function as they apply to modern development tools and languages
- you have knowledge of current trends and practices in transforming raw software into machine deployable modules such as MSI’s or equivalent
- you have knowledge of the OPS deployment systems (RADIA, Intune, Modern Endpoint Management (MEM))
Project Management Skills: • you have knowledge of project management, planning and control methods, tools, software, and project life cycle methodologies to plan, lead, coordinate, control and integrate assigned projects
Reasoning, Analytical, and Problem Solving Skills: • you have interpretive reasoning and problem solving skills to assess and recommend strategies for development, integration and implementation of complex technical solutions
- you have problem solving skills to assess problems referred to by other analysts in the section and to identify, diagnose and resolve problems impacting the information technology infrastructure
- you have analytical skills to identify current microcomputer and mainframe software requirements for clients
- you have research skills to attend trade shows and review technical manuals
Communication and Interpersonal Skills: • you can write, explain and present complex technical reports and recommendations for audiences and/or decision-makers whose area of expertise may not be in this area
- you can establish effective working relationships with vendors, customers, and other staff
- you have written communication skills to prepare project reports, design/develop documentation manuals and senior level briefing materials
