We are seeking a candidate with retail experience for an entry-level pharmacy technician experience for a fantastic temp to hire opening in the bustling Park Ave area. This is a full-time position with a busy pharmacy within a union Health Center. Candidates will be working in a front desk clerical and customer service role: accepting RXs from customers, doing data entry, ringing/cashing out customers, working on mailing prescriptions, and assisting the pharmacist with filling prescriptions if needed. Pay rate is dependent on experience. Excellent benefits are offered upon hire by the client and include a fully paid health insurance plan (including a family plan)!
Days & hours: Full time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:30AM-5:00PM. Candidates must be available to work up to 2 Saturdays per month from 8:00AM-12:00PM and will be paid overtime for these weekend hours if working in addition to the 40-hour weekday schedule.
Minimum Qualifications: Candidates must be vaccinated or willing to get vaccinated, have previous retail and cashier experience. Prior pharmacy experience is a plus. Basic computer skills required.
Expected salary: $16 per hour
