Job description: We are a well established credit union looking to start a new department from the ground up! You could be the very first QC Mortgage Auditor within the company! We have well over 130,000 members and plenty of business as we continue to gain market share. We are licensed in most states across the country and are excited to add more great people to our team.
What You Will Be Doing
– assist in establishing standards for loan quality, and create processes designed to achieve those standards
– you will perform quality control/quality assurance assigned audits, including pre-funding, post-closing, and random/discretionary audits
– identify any issues that would result in the inability to sell a loan on the secondary market
– effectively communicates results of audit with underwriting group
– track audit results and assists in identifying any trends
– elevate concerns to senior management with regard to findings that could potentially cause a loss
What You Need for this Position
– 5 years mortgage or related work experience required (QC or auditing work preferred)
– underwriting experience a plus
– at least 1 year working with Encompass software
– thorough knowledge of FHA, VA, RD, FNMA and FHLMC rules and regulation.
– excellent organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills.
– experienced working remotely
