We’re a small cyber and physical security firm based in New York that specializes in physical security, cybersecurity, vulnerability assessment software, control assessment and other services. We work heavily in the nuclear and energy sectors and want to branch into other markets like chemical and critical infrastructure. As our remote, Cyber Security Sales Engineer you’ll work closely with account managers, customers, and stakeholders throughout the sales cycle.
You will be the technical leader focusing heavily on the success of our vulnerability management software.
We would prefer to hire someone out of Texas or New York but will also consider remote candidates for the right amount of experience.

$70k-$90k/year base salary (DOE)

What You Will Be Doing
– Understand customer’s technology footprint and information management strategy
– Work closely with sales management throughout the sales cycle from product demos, proposals, and presentations
– With sales management, you develop an effective solution, including helping customers in their architectural design discussions and developing technical requirements
– Support proof-of-concept (POC) activities during the sales cycle
– Evaluate customer needs and functional requirements to determine product levels and pricing
What You Need for this Position
– 5+ years of pre-sales engineering experience in with complex enterprise information security solutions to midsize and large enterprises
– Experience with one or more of these technologies or products: Tenable security products, Endpoint Detection, and Response systems, on-prem and cloud-based solution
– Strong knowledge of the modern data technology industry and key players. Experience with databases such as MS SQL Server and SQL programming
– Working knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, and scripting
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills
