Job description: Our client, a global leader in the financial services sector, is looking for a Receptionist to fill an immediate position. As a Receptionist, you will act as the first point of contact to our guests as well as assist with office operations. If you are a self-directed professional, with keen attention to detail and are able to act independently, then we would like to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  • Greet all guests of the office and ensure an inviting, clean, and organized office space.
  • Organize and facilitate meetings, including preparation of meeting rooms and coordination of logistics.
  • Respond to all incoming correspondence in a professional manner and direct accordingly.
  • Assist in the planning and coordination of office events, including organizing all catering for meetings and internal social events.
  • Ensure a consistent supply of office stationery, business cards and kitchen supplies. Receive and coordinate all courier requirements.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of communal spaces and appliances.
  • Assist in arranging workspaces for new hires. Provide new hires with necessary information and materials.
  • Manage building systems, logistics, upkeep, and repairs.
  • Participate as an active member of the office social committee, as well as, health and safety committee.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in similar position.
  • College diploma in Business Administration or a similar field.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, with superior interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Strong ability to work independently and manage time and tasks effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with strong computer skills.
  • Highly detail oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Superior communication, telephone etiquette and relationship management skills
  • A proactive mindset, highly organized and an experienced multitasker
  • Highly professional with the ability to manage confidential information with discretion

Employment Conditions:

· Salary Up to $40,000

· 3 Weeks of Vacation
