Job description: The client is looking for Senior Real Estate Auditors to join their team. In this organization, they will provide you the opportunity to provide a range of assurance services and business advice to real estate companies, including prominent real estate funds, institutional investors, real estate owners and real estate investment advisors in order to help solve complex accounting business issues that impact the clients’ financial situation.

- Lead in the planning, execution, reporting and completion of financial audits of assigned Real Estate clients
- Review and evaluate financial risk, reporting and internal controls
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of complex accounting and auditing concepts and apply them to client situations
- Demonstrate critical thinking and the ability to bring order to unstructured problems, and adapt the audit approach to the changing client environment
- Design and implement technical solutions that improve client financial management activities
- Advise on the validity of financial statements, business critical information and processes determined during the audit
- Train, mentor and supervise other audit staff on the audit process and assess the performance of audit staff for engagement reviews

- Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting or a business-related field of study
- CPA or CPA eligible
- 2-5 years relevant work experience in auditing and accounting/financial advisory services in a CPA firm or professional services practice
- Experience working on Real Estate engagements
- Strong technical accounting skills with proficiency in US GAAP, GAAS and IFRS
- Strong auditing skills, including ability to challenge client estimates’ assumptions and provide recommendations on internal control review
- Ability to adapt to different clients’ environments and build strong clients’ relationship
- Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing priorities in a fast-paced, interactive results-based environment
- Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
