Job description: Adecco is currently hiring for a remote Pricing Specialist in Toronto, ON. To be considered for this Pricing Specialist role you must have a minimum 1 year of experience working within a previous testing environment, having strong organization and communication skills. Our client is a telecommunications organization and within this role, you will be responsible for creating test plans, conduct periodic testing and track progress of pricing deployment releases, along with working with the internal IT team to investigate and resolve defects found. This is a 1 year contract position and has a pay rate of $20.00 per hour.
The Pricing Specialist Responsibilities Include: * Develop test plans outlining requirements to be tested, profiles required, coordination of team accountabilities and provide completion status updates
- Conduct user acceptance testing in pre-production environments, ultimately driving zero defects for deployment
- Partner with IT and Marketing counterparts to identify, investigate and resolve defects
- Continually validate changes to existing offers and products outside of scheduled IT pricing releases
- Participate in weekly IT repeatable pricing releases to validate production deployment changes
- Lead root-cause production defect investigations to close revenue leakage and/or implement prevention gaps
- Maintain an ongoing log of outstanding and closed defects
The Pricing Specialist Qualifications Include: * University degree in Business or Marketing or a related area
- Ability to efficiently work in virtual teams, handling multiple parallel requests and very aggressive timelines
- Extremely proficient in Excel
- Willing to be flexible with work hours, as the candidate will be required to start work early on release days to conclude testing before regular business
- Available to work weekends when required for release deployments as well as occasional evenings to meet hard deadlines
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- High aptitude for understanding information systems technology
