Responsibilities for the Nursing Manager Medical Oncology:
- Orient, precept and train new oncology nursing hires
- Maintain proper RN staffing throughout department
- Administer chemotherapy and other cancer treatments
- Work to improve quality standards and patient outcomes
- Ensure proper patient care is consistently being delivered
- Act as a resource person and subject matter expert to staff and patients
- Ensure regulatory compliance and implement new goals and policies
Requirements of the Nursing Manager Medical Oncology:
- BSN required, Master’s Degree preferred
