Quinte Health Care (QHC) is a progressive and integrated system of four hospitals working with partners to provide exceptional care to their local communities.
Care is provided through four hospitals – Belleville General Hospital, North Hastings Hospital, Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital, and Trenton Memorial Hospital – and includes four emergency departments, operating rooms at three hospitals, a rehabilitation day hospital, children’s treatment centre, ambulatory care clinics, community mental health programs, and a range of diagnostic services. There are inpatient beds for acute medical patients, intensive care, obstetrics, paediatrics, mental health, complex continuing care, rehabilitation, and surgery.
With fantastic restaurants, a thriving arts and culture scene, and more than 40 wineries, the Quinte region is an excellent place to live. Position Summary
Community Commitment Program for Nurses (CCPN) – $10,000
Eligibility
- Not have been employed as a nurse in Ontario in the six months prior to being hired,
- Hold a Certificate of Registration in good standing from the College of Nurses of Ontario,
- Begin employment no later than November 15, 2021,
- Commit to 12-months of employment at a full-time work schedule offered by the employer, and
- Not simultaneously receive funds from the Ministry of Health for the Tuition Support Program for Nurses.

- RN – Part-time – Emergency Department – Belleville General Hospital
- RN – Full time – Quinte 6 Medicine/Quinte 5 Acute Medicine – Belleville
- RN – Full time – Transition Pool – Multi-site – Belleville General Hospital Home
- RN – Part-time – Intensive Care Unit – Multi-site – Belleville
- RN – Part-time – Operating Room – Multi-site – Belleville General Hospital Home
- RN – Part-time – Sills 3 Integrated Stroke & Rehabilitation Unit – Belleville General Hospital
- RN – Part-time – Emergency Department – Trenton Memorial Hospital
RPN positions:
- RPN – Part-time – Sills 3 Integrated Stroke & Rehab – Belleville General Hospital
- RPN – Part-time – Quinte 6 Medicine/Quinte 5 Acute Medicine – Belleville General Hospital
- RPN – Part-time – Transition Pool – Multi-site – Belleville General Hospital Home
- RPN – Part-time – In-patient Unit – Trenton
Compensation
- Nurses are paid in three instalments:
– $3,000 after the completion of four (4) months,
– $3,000 after the completion of eight (8) months, and
– $4,000 after the completion of twelve (12) months.
RN Critical Care Capacity Out of Province Relocation – $15,000
Eligibility
- Must be an out of Province Nurse within Canada,
- 2-year employment commitment to work in ICUs or Critical Care Units offered by the employer, and
- Eligible for Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.

Compensation
- Nurses are paid $15,000 in one installment.
