MassMutual New York State is in search of an Marketing Coordinator to create a marketing strategy to engage with the public to promote MassMutual New York State services. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, innovative, organized and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Aid associates in developing marketing plans, using marketing tools and materials, and implementing marketing plans and initiatives.
- Develops strategic marketing and media plans that focus on digital and traditional marketing campaigns across multiple platforms.
- Collaborates with others creating content for marketing strategies including email and social media marketing as well for presentations.
- Supports ongoing marketing campaigns to increase target audience engagement.
- Ensures effective control of marketing activities, results, and ROI and takes corrective action to guarantee that achievement of marketing objectives falls within designated targets.
- Prepares metric tracking and marketing activity reports for our financial advisors.
- Manages and analyze marketing expenses to conform to budget.
- Manages branding and style guidelines to maintain a consistent image throughout promotional materials and events.
- Determines best means of approaching and developing target markets.
- Responds to requests for sales support and marketing initiative aid.
- Translates product and services information into targeted/audience-relevant communications strategies by working closely with subject matter experts within the firm.
- Provides marketing and sales support orientation to new strategic alliance partners as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, graphic design, communications or related field.
- Currently has or can quickly develop a good understanding financial products and services
Position Type and Expected Work Hours:
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday-Friday.
Travel:
Travel as needed to core offices and events within our Rochester, Syracuse and Buffalo offices.
Expected salary: $40000 – 50000 per year
