About the Role

We’re looking to bring on a Manager to oversee the day-to-day needs of our health care provider network. The demand for virtual care is rapidly growing and Maple has Canada’s largest online health care provider network, including general practitioners, specialists, and allied health professionals. Our goal is to continue to attract, engage, and retain the best providers.

Reporting to the VP of Clinical Operations, you’ll manage a team dedicated to supporting our health care providers. You’re an excellent communicator, with a genuine passion for helping others. You enjoy thinking creatively and working through challenges. You’re highly organized, detail-oriented, tech-savvy and can manage multiple priorities at the same time. Above all, you share our belief, that through technology and innovation, people should have access to healthcare professionals when and where they need it.

Responsibilities

You will:

  • Build, manage, and mentor a team
  • Optimize day-to-day processes and participate in key projects and initiatives related to our provider network
  • Oversee our provider onboarding processes to deliver a best-in-class onboarding experience
  • Manage Maple’s provider database, ensuring data is consistently up to date
  • Understand key metrics and generate required reporting
  • Work cross-functionally with our Finance, Business Development, and Customer Support departments to manage provider-related initiatives, change requests, and updates

Required Skills

  • 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in a Customer Success, Project Management, or Operations related role
  • Proven people management and leadership capabilities
  • Strong command of project management principles, procedures, and best practices
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment, being quick to adapt and respond to feedback as priorities shift
  • Direct experience working in a clinic/hospital/health care setting considered an asset

  • Job Type: Full-time
  • Reporting Manager: VP, Clinical Operations
  • Location: 355 Adelaide Street West, Suite 100 but currently remote due to COVID-19 pandemic
  • Start Date: Jan 2021
  • Salary: $60,000-70,000
  • Equity compensation: Available subject to board approval, to be discussed. Note that strike price is based on fair market value at the time of the option grant, which is also subject to change and board approval.
  • Paid Vacation: 3 weeks
