Job title: Maintenance Coordinator

Job description: ClearWater Farm (CWF) is a social enterprise that uses sustainable and organic growing methodologies at a farm site on the shore of Lake Simcoe in Georgina, one hour from Toronto. CWF is the flagship project of the Ontario Water Centre that promotes understanding of, and connection to, nature and water among kids and their families.
Duties and Responsibilities
- General repairs to buildings/structures barn; garage, greenhouses, farmhouse; tiny houses; outside kitchen; cold storage; wash station any outdoor structures
- General maintenance of site
- Maintenance of site services
- Garbage removal on site
- Landscaping of farm site grass cutting; trimming, snow removal; tree watering
- Daily cleaning of site
- Special building projects
- Quotes for projects and maintenance work
- Events setup and teardown
- Overseeing summer maintenance staff
- Opening and closing season residence with outdoor kitchen and bathrooms
Routine maintenance of property
- Grounds are clean and safe
- Moving; removing; planting trees; plants; soil; mulch
- Various daily tasks as assigned by work orders
- Maintenance of Work Orders system
- Weekly; Quarterly; Yearly Maintenance schedule
Knowledge and Skills
- Basic repairs knowledge
- Mechanical aptitude
- Carpentry skills
- General knowledge of buildings electrical, plumbing, structural
- Construction knowledge
- Skilled landscaping
- Capable of using a Kubota tractor
Qualifications
Preference for previous farm experience
Preference for previous landscaping and maintenance
Salary range $20-22 hourly
