About the Position:
Our Legal team is seeking a driven, self-starter Summer Intern who would like to gain experience in the areas of healthcare, insurance law and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Assist with the completion of customer and regulatory documentation
- Develop tools to standardize and simplify completion of regulatory reporting requirements
- Research and summarize applicable rules and regulations
- Work closely with general counsel and compliance analyst to update and manage internal business processes and procedures related to healthcare compliance, fraud, waste and abuse and other regulatory matters
- Conduct assessments of effectiveness of Integra’s compliance program and help implement changes to meet current OIG guidance
- Assist with internal compliance audits and implementation of a vendor oversight process
- Apply new standard format to update and document existing policies
- Assist with the review and creation of business associate agreements, non-disclosure agreements and other agreements
- Assist with projects related to the inventory of obligations and limitations in payer contracts and applicable payer policies

Requirements
- Must be a current Law Student, available 32 hours per week between June-August
- High level of personal integrity and confidentiality
- Strong track record of success in developing positive interpersonal relationships
- Ability to work well in a high-growth, fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment
- Detail oriented, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Results-orientated and able to juggle multiple projects and priorities.
Compensation: $20/hour
