Description Position Overview: As a member of the Global Product Data Management (GPDM) team, this role will contribute to the development and continual improvement of globally harmonized product data. This individual will deploy their analytical skills, developing and publishing reports, recommending innovative and creative actions based on the trending and outcomes of the objective data. The process improvements/solutions may contribute to New Product Development, Quality, Regulatory, or Supply Chain process improvements, ECR/ECO processes, SAP GLM Labelling, LANSA/GS1 Attribute Publication data to GUDID FDA, EUDAMED data base and commercial customers globally. You will support acquisitions and product line transfers between facilities, create and/or change material master data. You will assist in development of work instructions, training materials, and perform training for end users around the globe. Key Responsibilities: Participate & contribute to cross functional process and technology improvement projects related to Product Data Management. Participate & contribute to segments of GPDM related business transformation efforts/SAP rollouts. Use LEAN tools and methods for identifying and executing improvements, setting an example for how to employ LEAN in the Office. Generates and publishes metrics related to the health of our processes and the quality of product data, labeling, and product data attributes. Analyzes outcomes/trending of objective data, identifying potential solutions and taking actions to improve processes, data re-train users as needed. Develop and perform test scripts Contribute to developement or changes to Quality System Documents or GPDM training materials and deliver training to end users. May be responsible to perform one or more Core GPDM services such as ECR Construction, GLM label/product data attribute maintenance, Material Master maintenance as business priorities require. Qualifications Associate Degree with 4-7 years SAP experience Understanding of PLM configuration for document management, material master data, BOMs/Routings, ECR/ECO, CAD Mechanical and/or Electrical interfaces etc. Demonstrated computer skills, including working knowledge of key applications (i.e., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio). Proficiency with advanced functions, SAP tables & queries is desirable. Must be motivated with a sense of urgency and commitment to meet deadlines. Strong customer service, team building & communication skills. Experience with WinShuttle desirable. Experience with SAP PLM and/or GLM is desirable.
