Summary
The Lead Business Analyst role is responsible for working with Big Data and supporting multiple complex assigned projects aimed at delivering IT solutions and services. This role will predominantly focus on gathering and analyzing work group data, defining current processes and requirements, researching best practices and identifying and documenting process improvements and functional specifications.
The position is expected to guide and mentor less-experienced team members and serve as a liaison for the integration and communication among applications, databases, and technology platforms on a business and technological level.
Required Qualifications:
- 7 years related experience
- BS / BA degree in relevant discipline
- ISEB qualified Business Analyst OR an advanced Master’s degree OR 10 years related experience
Job Duties:
- Analyze, define and document complex requirements and business processes
- Process flow and conversion strategies
- Create complex technical and functional user documentation
- Contribute to the development of new tools, processes, and solutions to meet product needs
- Follow established processes/protocols and quality standards in the development and deployment of complex solutions
- Maintain stakeholders expectations and raise appropriate issues as needed
- Gather business requirements and translate them into user stories/functional specifications
- Perform analysis of existing systems; try to find potential solutions for both technical and business sustainability
- Work between remote development teams, internal IT and business to meet quality standards
Technical Competencies (Continued):
- Broad technical understanding of SDLC, methodologies, platforms, tools, and languages
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products
- Experience in working in an Agile environment and using recognized development methodology
- Data and visual analytics, design, creativity
