What you will do
We are seeking for an innovative and dedicated individual to join our forward-thinking Identity and Access Management (IAM) team. You will be part of a dynamic and highly skilled team of cyber specialists working in a fast-paced environment enabling Canada’s Leading Bank to work securely. With the increase in sophistication and frequency of cyber-attacks, cyber security has been identified as a top priority at the Bank.
The Bank has a requirement for a IT Security Services Analyst who will work on an agile team to deliver business value and outcomes to support the modernization of Identity Management and the synchronization of identity data across enterprise platforms.
As an IT Security Services Analyst, you will:
- Play an active role in ensuring the integration of services, data flow and functionality for all of Identity Administration’s Products (both on-premise and in the Cloud).
- Review and report on data related to Access Certifications.
- Provide system support to all application owners and validate the integrity of data provided by owners.
- Assist with the development of performance metrics.
- Participate in defining, improving and documenting business and system processes.
- Assist in preparing end-user documentation, guidelines, visuals and training materials.
- Participate and support audit events and provide necessary evidence for any audit queries.
- Identity opportunities for automation, innovation and streamlining the IAM life-cycle processes.
- Maintain working knowledge of the technical security policies, standards and processes related to digital identity management that are used at the Bank of Canada.
What you need to succeed
You are a great communicator and are highly client focused and can foster client relationships while abiding by established technical security policies, standards, and processes. You are open-minded and are willing to learn and participate in enhancing and improving existing service offerings. Your strong analytical skills enable you to explain and document complex security protocols in layman’s terms.
You have knowledge of:
- Computer security issues, threats and trends
- Operating systems: Windows, Unix and Linux
- Digital identity management concepts and concerns
- Cyber security principles
Nice-to-have
- Proficiency in data analytics.
- Understanding of cloud platform systems and tools.
Your education and experience
The position requires a bachelor’s degree or three-year college diploma in computer science, engineering, Information Technology Security or relevant field and two years of IT experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

- Language requirement: English or French essential
- Priority will be given to Canadian citizens and permanent residents
- Security level required: Secret
- You will work remotely from any location within Canada while the Bank operates under mandatory telework. Flexibility for remote work for the duration of the term may be granted.

- Salaries are based on qualifications and experience and typically range from $71,300 to $83,900 (job grade 15)
- Depending on performance, you may be eligible for performance pay for successfully meeting (5 to 7% of your base salary) or for exceeding expectations (10% of your base salary). Exceptional performers who far exceed expectations may be eligible for higher performance pay.
