Summary:
The Consulting team is seeking to hire temp IT – Business Analysts with in-depth experience in creating business & functional requirements documents for accounting and finance processes to help organizations move from legacy systems to modern accounting and finance ERP/ platforms including cloud based solutions (AccPac/ Sage to future state).
This is a remote role that requires current residency and eligibility to work within the United States and willingness and ability to work eastern standard time hours (EST)
Roles & Responsibilities
- Liaise with senior client personnel , participate in working group sessions with accounting staff and consulting team to understand current state processes, bottlenecks, pain points, wish lists etc. to define desired future state and capture it in granular BRD and FRD
- BRD and FRD to be detailed and precise enough to drive vendor RFP dialogue for system evaluation and selection
- Other related items.
- Implementing the following F&A modules:
- Accounts Receivable
- Accounts Payable
- Fixed Assets
- Taxes
- Cash Management
- Revenue Booking
- Month End Closing/ Reporting
- General Ledge
Preferred Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Expertise in the following:
- Excellent understating of various accounting functions and processes
- Financial systems/ modules related to GL, AP, AR, FA, Cash Management etc.
- Experience in business and functional requirements.
- Ability to come up with new and better processes.
- Excellent communications skills and ability to work with in a team environment
