Position Description:

  • Resource will be responsible for working with the ServiceNow Service Owner, Operations, and Service Desk teams to test and coordinate the implementation of system changes, enhancements, service request workflows, and new capability across the ServiceNow platform.

Job Requirements:

– 3+ years of overall IT experience

– 2+ years of first-hand use of Service Now primarily focused on ticket and service request handling

– Experience with reporting related to inventory management, SLAs and CMDBs

– Working knowledge of ServiceNow modules to include, but not limited to IT Service Management, IT Business Management, IT Operations Management, Risk, and Software Asset Management

– Experience with Notifications, Service Levels, and Reporting

– General understanding of ServiceNow integrations, database hierarchies and design

– Working knowledge of creating and configuring forms and screen updates in ServiceNow

– ITIL v3/v4 Certification or equivalent practical experience

– Advanced experience with MS Office suite with focus on Excel Pivot Tables/Charts

Roles and Responsibilities:

– Follow up and report on ticket inquiries and identify opportunities for improvement

– Participate in governance meetings to monitor and measure performance

– Assistant with patch testing and upgrade activities

– Evaluate and test system fixes and new capability to determine impact and benefits

– Partner with 3rd party support team to design and implement client scripts, business rules, and workflows

– Coordinate and monitor progress on quarterly patching and annual major release system upgrades

– Facilitate enhancement requests and defect corrections through formal Change Management processes

– Create and maintain system design and operations documentation

– Analyze health monitoring data and reports to ensure system operation meets performance targets

– Analyze processes to identify and implement automation opportunities

– Develop and test custom reports and dashboards, including key performance indicators

– Assist in Event Management and Software Asset Management implementation as needed

– Work with Service Owner to approve user maintenance related activities like user creation and access authorization

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or A.S. degree with commensurate experience

Expected salary: $28.02 – 39.77 per hour
