Job description: Kelly Services has an exciting direct hire opportunity for a Inventory and Logistics Analyst located in Rochester, NY.
Salary: $65K
The Inventory and Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for the proper flow of raw material, incoming components from suppliers to the manufacturing areas and subsequent finished goods to customers based on production schedules and customer pulls.
Essential Duties and Accountabilities:
Preparation of the Master Schedule for both Production and Sales.
Coordinate Monthly Production Plans with Plant Manager.
Capacity analysis of production resources.
Control of returnable/expendable packaging programs.
Assist in accomplishing main PC and Plant targets to reduce internal and external lead-time.
Lead communication and reconciliation efforts with direct material suppliers in regards to on-time delivery.
Review daily, weekly and monthly reports related to material requirements planning MRP .
Analyze, review and determine material requirements and change orders required.
Ensure materials and purchased components are available to manufacturing as based on Master Schedule.
Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Must possess good communication and people interaction skills.
Must be able to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
Must be able to effectively analyze trends and market shifts
Must be multi-tasked to make proper decisions with appropriate attention to detail.
Must be proficient in record keeping and organization.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations to customers, clients, and employees of the organization.
Must demonstrate proficiency in Excel, Word, Power Point, Access and Outlook.
Must be able to work various hours to support the manufacturing plant, which could include weekends and overtime.
Knowledge of FORD specific MMOG MP L Requirements recommended, not required.
Working knowledge of Macola ERP System recommended, not required.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor of Science or Associate degree in Logistics, Business, IT or related field is required.
Experience with multiple customized software packages is desired.
