Job description: Intermediate IT Project Manager – Government to provide specialized planning and IT project expertise in the management of software development and deployment.

Job type: Temporary (initial 15 month term)
Compensation: $45-55/hr
Work location: Currently remote with occasional office visits
Requirements:
- Manage comprehensive software development and deployment programs, using both agile and waterfall methodologies
- Create project plans, including activity rosters and burn-down charts
- Lead project teams and manage resources to ensure targets achieved
- Participate in RFP process as SME for technical specifications and requirements
- Maintain a control framework for process and project changes
- Supervise vendor/supplier performance as per contracts
- Develop and integrated IT project schedule
Qualifications:
- 4 years demonstrated experience in IT project management and software development and life cycle
- Experience with managing .Net development projects including web-based and enterprise wide systems
- A proven track record of successfully implementing software and web development projects using Agile and Scrum
- Proven experience maintaining, reviewing, managing and reporting technical action items, issues, risks, change controls and decisions
- Proficiency in project management software tools (e.g. MS Project Pro, Online & JIRA)
- Procurement and vendor management experience.
