We need someone who excels at coming up with creative solutions to technical issues. Robert Half Technology is seeking a Help Desk Analyst to accommodate field users in an ever-changing, active environment. If you have strong problem-solving skills and a passion for making effective change within an organization, this may be the Help Desk Analyst position for you. Located in Bronx, New York, the Help Desk Analyst opportunity is a long-term temporary-to-full-time role.
Your responsibilities
– Assist and follow up on technical help tickets submitted via phone, email, and walk-ups
– Provide IT support for operating systems, productivity software, and a variety of other applications used internally
– Independently investigate and implement solutions to technical issues
– Identify recurring technical issues and propose solutions to address the root of the problems
Job Requirements:
– Practical knowledge in installing and configuring operating systems, networked and local printers, and business applications
– Active problem-solver who listens for customer cues and actively resolves problems with grace and integrity
– Prior experience with IT support ticketing systems
– Proficiency in Active Directory
– TeamViewer experience
– VoIP experience preferred
– Adeptness in VPNs (virtual private networks)
– Microsoft Office 365 experience
– SharePoint experience
– Comprehension of basic networking concepts
– Background in user administration and bug fixing in a client server environment
