We at Robert Half Technology are hiring a Help Desk Analyst, to be part of a rapidly expanding company in the Chemicals Manufacturing industry by supporting local and field users. You will thrive at solving problems in a dynamic and rapidly-changing work environment as a Help Desk Analyst. Because this Help Desk Analyst role is very visible within the company, you will have a number of opportunities to make a positive impact on the department and the broader organization. This Help Desk Analyst role is located in the Orangeburg, New York area and is a long-term temporary-to-full-time opportunity.
What you get to do every day
Independently investigate and implement solutions to technical issues
Pinpoint recurring technical issues and present solutions to address the root of the problems
Deliver IT support for operating systems, productivity software, and a variety of other applications used internally
Manage correspondences on technical help tickets submitted via phone, email, and walk-ups
Job Requirements:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365
Comprehensive knowledge of Active Directory
Ticketing System experience highly desired
O 365 experience
Practical knowledge in installing and configuring operating systems, networked and local printers, and business applications
Eager problem-solver who listens for customer cues and actively resolves problems with grace and integrity
Comprehension of basic networking concepts
1+ years of prior experience
Working knowledge of user administration and bug fixing in a client server environment
IT support ticketing system experience highly value
