Position Summary:

The Health Systems Project Analyst contributes to effective public health program planning, delivery, and management through seamless roll out of project initiatives throughout the Agency.

This is accomplished by:

  • Implementing and leading large scale planning projects
  • Defining and documenting system and functional requirements for developing and implementing solutions
  • Analyzing project needs and coordinating relevant planning changes
  • Developing project plans and leading the associated project roll out in collaboration with various stakeholders
  • Coordinating all training associated for successful project implementation
  • Act as a bridge between planning and the various program areas to ensure program specific needs are being met

Hours of Work:

Regular Office Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm
Possibility of remote work and extended hours based on agency needs.

Position Effective:

Immediately

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in business, health or science related discipline
  • Minimum of 2 years working experience in a related field
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in any of the following areas: project planning and coordination, process improvement, change management, knowledge mobilization, data management, or problem solving
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to solve problems and inefficiencies through process improvement and change management
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Project management experience
  • Strong computer skills including MS Office Suite, or related product
  • Experience in public health or the healthcare field preferred
  • PMP designation would be considered an asset
