Location: Downtown, Toronto
Salary: $65K + benefits +vacation
Reporting directly to the partners of the Law Firm, you will be responsible for managing and completing all Accounting transactions for the firm, its clients and partners. This role is a stand alone position and will be working closely with the Firm’ s CPA partner.
The Highlights of this Role…
- Solely responsible for A/R, A/P & Trust Banking, Expense Reports/Post expenses & client disbursements
- Creating client billing/invoices
- Trust funds applications
- Performing all client collection activities
- Prepare bank deposits and complete bank reconciliations
- Responsible for Firm’ s payroll processing including issuing ROEs
- CRA remittances

What you need to bring…
- Must have bookkeeping experience of at least 5 years within a Law firm using PC Law full set of books & preparing reports for year end
- Must have full cycle payroll processing experience for a company size of 20 employees
- Successful working autonomously with proven strong organizational skills and attention to detail, and consistently hitting deadlines
- Intermediate Excel & MS Word & highly proficient in Outlook
- Professional communications (written and verbal) – focus on high level of customer service to internal and external stakeholders, using courteous and timely communication methods
**This role is required to be in the office 5 days/week.
Expected salary: $65000 per year
