Job description: Georgian Bay Optometry Clinic is a fast-paced multi-doctor Optometry clinic in Wasaga Beach. We are currently seeking a full time Healthcare Receptionist with a passion and enthusiasm for impeccable customer service to join our team. The successful candidate will be a strong multi-tasking individual who also pays close attention to detail and exhibits extraordinary communication skills in person, on the phone and online. A background in healthcare reception, pharmacy or an Optometric Assistant is preferred but not required. Evenings and occasional Saturdays are required. Compensation is $17-$19/hr based on experience and we offer a health benefits package.
The primary responsibilities of this position are:
Pre-screening and imaging of patients
Answering the telephone
Responding to texts and emails
Faxing/scanning
Booking appointments and maintaining a very busy schedule
