What is the job?
As a Web Developer, you will be working on our Client Data Team. You will work directly with data scientists and data engineers, building out a comprehensive front-end that includes dashboarding and data visualization. You will work heavily on Javascript, working closely with UX designers to optimize an intuitive experience.
On the back-end, you will build APIs that will be consumed by the front-end. In this role you will wear many different hats on a dynamic team that works as a start-up within a large organization. You will have the opportunity to work with new technologies and implement Devops practices such as deploying web applications in the cloud, such as AWS or Azure.
What skills do you bring to the table?
In order to be successful in this role you must have expertise in the following:
Must-haves:
Javascript, Angular, React, Vue
- Python
- Django, Node
- Understanding of server side web frameworks, objects oriented programming, dependency injection and testing concepts
- AWS or Azure
The following are strong plusses and can only help:
- Power BI or Tableau
- Docker
- Experience with Microservice based architecture
