Job description: There’s an immediate need for a Full Charge Bookkeeper to manage full-cycle A/P, payroll, bank reconciliations, journal entries, month-end close, cash flow, financial statement preparation, audit, and clerical staff. What you get to do every day
– Handle Accounts Receivable
– Prepare monthly reconciliations, financial statements, and all supporting documents
– Manage monthly accounting close
– Make all cash account journal entries including loans, taxes, bank fees, 401(k) deductions, etc.
– Business license and gross receipts reporting
– Create cash flow projections, as needed
– Accomplished in credit card management and reconciliation
– Maintain sales tax records and creates and files quarterly payments
– Iron out subcontractor 1099’s, and any other IRS year-end requirement
– Extra unique tasks if required
– Complete Accounts Payable
– Record budget transfers
– Self-driven motivator who takes initiative on projects with a strong ability to understand and solve creative challenges
– Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing
– Progressive accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferred
– 5+ years of related experience- Proven analytical skills with the ability to implement solutions and vendor management experience with good organizational skills
– Excellent attention to detail
– Comfortable working in a changing and dynamic environment
– Ability to prioritize work and balance multiple projects and deadlines
– BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business-related field preferred
– Strong organization skills
– Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR)
– Knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP)
– Certified Payroll experience
– Accounts Payable (AP) experience
