JOB DESCRIPTION

We are in search of a self-driven and curious analyst to join our growing team. This is a tremendous opportunity to help scale a fast-growing company that has achieved clear product market fit in a very large market.

Data is a critical part of the decision making and operations of our business, and we are focused on finding great talent to continue to round out our data strategy and business intelligence team.

The Financial Planning and Analysis Data Manager will work closely with the Director of Finance, CFO and the rest of the C-suite in developing scalable reporting and will have significant influence on top-level decision making.

This position will help to lead a range of projects related to company analytics and systems development, while using these analytics to drive investment and operating decisions. We are a highly data driven team and as such you will see an immediate impact from your work to the operations of the business.

This position has significant growth and compensation opportunities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Use existing reporting and internal tools to monitor overall business performance, identify trends, and spot anomalies
  • Help develop and implement new tools, infrastructure, and processes to continuously improve our understanding of the drivers of the business in an increasingly systematic, scalable, and user-friendly fashion
  • Perform ad hoc analysis to answer questions raised by the local operations teams
  • Work cross functionally across Finance / Accounting, Operations, and Technology teams to develop analyses, create clear summaries of your insights, and present that analysis to the team

Requirements

  • Quantitative mindset and analytic capabilities
  • Excellent written communication skills and strong spoken communication skills
  • Bachelor’s or higher degree from top institution
  • Minimum 2 years in a data analysis or business intelligence role
  • Microsoft Office Suite experience (specifically Excel) required
  • SQL or similar query language experience preferred
  • Tableau or similar business intelligence / data viz experience preferred
  • Basic financial statement and accounting understanding strongly preferred

Expected salary: $95000 – 110000 per year
