A state of the art 288 bed facility, located in Brooklyn, NY, is seeking a Director of Nursing to join their team. Their mission is to promote healing and better health within a caring and supportive environment. Their dedicated clinical and supportive staff strives to provide a loving atmosphere for all patients and residents. They provide services for those in need of short term as well as long term care. Those that require short-term rehabilitation are placed on one of their two 36-bed subacute care units. In order to ensure a timely return home back into the community, they also offer rehabilitation services seven days a week. They are committed to being a facility for a loved one that requires care at any level.
Compensation and Benefits for the Director of Nursing:
- The starting salary for this position is $170,000 / yr.
- This is a Full-time position
- Benefits include Malpractice, Health Insurance, Vacation, CME, 401K, PTO
Requirements of the Director of Nursing:
- Must have an active RN License in New York State
- Must have at least 1 year of experience as a Director of Nursing
Responsibilities of the Director of Nursing:
- Supervising all nursing staff
- Reporting to higher management
- Maintaining high standards of care for all patients
- Managing patients’ data and medical records as confidential records
- Communicating with doctors, patients and family members about patient’s health
- Recruiting, training and onboarding new nursing staff
- Implementing new procedures and training Nurses on policies
- Overseeing department budgets
