Job Description
At Indigo, the Manager, Digital Product is responsible for ensuring we build and deliver meaningful enhancements that create value for our millions of customers. With a focus on data quality, loyalty, traffic, SEO optimization and customer acquisition, the Manager identifies opportunities through an intense understanding of the market and the voice of the customer, engagement of the Indigo team, and thoughtful insights from data and analytics. The Manager will also work with a cross-functional product squad of designers, engineers and business specialists to build and deliver high quality software in the ecommerce space.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Functional
- Develop and own the product strategy with prioritized initiatives, features and clear success measurements for a particular product portfolio
- Create and socialize the customer and business rationale (Customer Impact & ROI business cases) for relevant product enhancements to champion and communicate the product vision
- Clearly define and prioritize product challenges and opportunities, develop a product roadmap and manage a clean product backlog
- Work with cross-functional teams, including Online Merchandising, Digital Operations, Loyalty, Development, UX, Customer Support, Analytics and key business stakeholders to map requirements, gather ideas and conduct experiments towards Indigo’s strategic objectives and goals
- Act as an advocate for the customer by placing them at the forefront of all design and decision-making processes
- Facilitate a strong product discovery process through constant testing and prototyping, along with design partners
- Gain a deep understanding of the market, and seek out new opportunities through benchmarking and analysis, insights through our own data, voice of the customer and input from the larger Indigo Team
- Stay current in functional expertise and keep abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies
- Embrace and seek out technology that creates high tech and high touch solutions for Indigo’s customers

Qualifications
WHO YOU ARE:
- Degree or Certificate in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or UX Design
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a product management role, and 4-5 years of progressive professional experience in retail or ecommerce
- Customer-focused, proactive, and results-oriented to doing what’s right for both Indigo and its customers
- Ability to think critically, to analyze and creatively solve technical or business-related problems using a deep analytical skillset
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence project team members and business stakeholders on key project issues
- Ability to break down and define complex problems, while managing complex cross-functional stakeholder relationships
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills and a demonstrated ability to prioritize work in a demanding environment
- Exceptional business acumen
- Exceptional knowledge of current and emerging Digital and Retail technologies and how they could be applied to drive the Indigo business
- Exceptional knowledge of e-commerce, mobile, social, and multi-channel retailing trends
