We’re looking for a Data Entry Clerk, working in the Banking/Finance industry in New York, New York, United States.

  • Transfer data from paper formats, software applications and spreadsheets into appropriate software applications within allotted time frames. Data must be entered quickly and accurately; data may need to be transcribed, interpreted, and will need to be verified for correctness.
  • Transfer data from paper formats, Excel spreadsheets, software application and other data files into software applications.
  • Create spreadsheets, summarizing data for reporting purposes.
  • Verify data and review data for accuracy, following defined verifications processes which may include interpreting results and retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested.
  • Perform regular backups to ensure data is saved.
  • Sort and organize data for reporting.

Details

The pay we are offering is 17 per hour. This position may present an opportunity to go permanent.

Experience Required for Your Success

  • 2 years of data entry experience
  • Knowledge of financial services/planning field and tools experience
  • Proficiency in MS Excel is essential
  • Strong working knowledge and proficiency in the appropriate computer programs such as MS Word, Excel and database input is essential
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable with direct communication with Financial Advisors and their teams
  • Ability to learn quickly and to engage in a number of detailed tasks at once
  • Strong flexibility in regard to the duties assigned and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Attention to detail and accuracy required
