We are working diligently to bring devices to the hands of students who are attending school remotely and preparing for future remote classrooms. We are seeking a Computer Hardware Technician to assist our team:
***ALL SHIFTS ARE MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY***
NIGHT SHIFT HOURS: 12:10 am to 7:40 am
PAY: $17.39/hour + $1.00 incentive bonus for every hour worked = $18.39/hour
AFTERNOON SHIFT HOURS: 3:45 pm to 11:45 pm
PAY: $16.84/hour + $1.00 incentive bonus for every hour worked = $17.84/hour
DAY SHIFT HOURS: 7:30 am to 3:30 pm
PAY: $16.00/hour + $1.00/hr incentive for every hour worked = $17/hour
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Inspect and test lease-end returned computers to identify and troubleshoot the problems
- Diagnose and repair hardware malfunctions and perform the maintenance of computers
- Use testing devices and follow the factory manuals to locate malfunctions in computers
- Assess computer hardware malfunctions to determine the cause of error and apply appropriate actions to correct problems and repair computers in order to maintain operations
- Performance all technical functions following the factory technical manuals, such as installing, maintaining and repairing/replacing electronic components of computers
- Modify and upgrade computers and provide support for both software and hardware
- Monitor performance of equipment and make necessary adjustments to assure quality performance
- Complete work orders in our T&A system.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs
- A+ certificate is preferred
- College diploma in Computer Studies or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must have previous hands on experience with Tier 1 computer hardware components and repair.
- Basic Microsoft Office knowledge
- Possess effective communication skills written and oral in English
- Must own steel-toed safety shoes
