Job description: Adecco is hiring immediately for a full time, Permanent Compounder / Cleaner to work for one of our client in Etobicoke, ON. Our client is a full-service partner to both leading and emerging brands and specializes in the development and manufacturing of high-performance personal care and beauty products.

- Shift schedules: Sunday to Thursday- Night shift, should be flexible for morning & afternoon shifts as required

Job responsibilities include: * Clean and Sanitize manufacturing equipment as required – in accordance with procedures provided/SOP.
- Understand and follow Good Manufacturing Practices, Standard Operating Procedures, Safety Standards, and follow plant policies and procedures
- Dismantle, clean – in accordance to procedure provided, and re-assemble all related production pumps.
- Pump batches to specified holding tanks / totes.
- Maintain/ Prepare sanitizing solution in sanitation tanks – as required
- Remove garbage and empty drums for disposal as required
- Clean and sanitize equipment as required or assigned. Keep accurate log books on equipment.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times (mopping and sweeping production areas and around the fillers)
- Must keep Sanitization Room clean and safe as well.
- Assist line operator and mechanics clean filler parts (12 hr procedure)
- Must have knowledge of GMP and customer requirements
- Other duties as assigned
To qualify, you should: * Grade 12 education or equivalent college or University an asset
- Must be able to easily move 45 lb drums during shift, stand, lift, bend, crouch, and reach consistently throughout the shift.
- Must be able to read and write English (read and understand Production daily schedules).
- Must be able to work in accordance with all Health and Safety and GMP Regulations.
- Must be able to work overtime where necessary.
- Must be able to work rotating or continental shifts
- Must be able to prioritize tasks in order to maintain an effective work environment
- Experience in a pharmacy or pharmaceutical companies or experience as pharmacist in a pharmaceutical manufacturing will be considered an asset.
- If you have previously worked at companies like Deciem, KIK or East York Pharmasave, Smith’s Pharmacy etc, it will be considered an asset
