What You Will Be Doing
– Providing insight via moving data sets into meaningful, simplified, actionable visualizations, trends
– Gathering, refining, analyzing data & providing info that supports company-wide decision making
– Working within our tech stack – Informatica, Snowflake, Power BI, Jaspersoft, Matillion, Alteryx, AWS & Azure
– Ensuring accurate reporting & analysis in conjunction with diverse business team
– Working closely with data engineering, ensuring enterprise data warehouse supports business properly
– Data validation, business analysis, budgeting, forecasting & reporting contribution
– Streamlining data flow between teams & dept’s
– Interpreting complex data sets & generating dynamic data models
– Project management
What You Need for this Position
– Bachelor’s degree in computer science, stats, engineering, physics or related & 3+ years experience in relevant business intelligence or financial analyst role
– Proven experience gathering, refining, analyzing & transforming data sets into simple, meaningful & actionable items for business
– cloud platform experience – AWS & Azure is ideal
– Experience with Power BI, Jaspersoft, Tableau or other Data Visualization tools
– Background writing highly optimized & complex sql queries across big data sets
– Balance of financial & business & technical acumen
– SQL, Dimensional Modeling, analytics data warehouses (i.e. Snowflake)
