Job description: We are seeking an experienced and organized individual for a new full time Bookkeeper / Office Administrator opportunity with an accounting firm in Peterborough, ON.
The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years experience in bookkeeping/accounting and administration, full cycle bookkeeping and Quickbooks online experience and working knowledge of MS Office, MS Team and SharePoint.
HR experience an asset.
Bookkeeper / Office Administrator Duties:
- Maintain general ledgers, cash and financial statements
- Calculate and prepare payroll
- Prepare other statistical financial reports
- Accounts Payable/Receivable
- Maintain and prepare year end documentation
- Maintain and prepare Excel spreadsheets
- General administrative duties
- Other duties as required
Bookkeeper Requirements:
- Strong computer and typing skills and experience with Quickbooks Online, MS Office, MS Team and SharePoint
- 3-5 years bookkeeping/accounting and administrative experience
- Able to work with teams/clients nationwide via cloud based systems
- Bookkeeping, Accounting or Business Administration Certificate or Diploma; designation an asset
- HR experience an asset
