We are currently working with a family run Accounting firm in the Oakville area! This opportunity is with an organization that knows how to work hard and provide flexibility during the off season! The ideal candidate will have experience working in an Accounting Firm and also be capable with Personal Tax! This is a permanent position that offers an annual salary of $55,000 – $60,000 depending on experience with three weeks vacation to start!

– Annual salary of $60,000 based on experience
– Flexible work schedule with a Summer Schedule (4 days a week from June till the end of December)
– 3 weeks vacation to start + plus the ability to bank time during the busy season (January -June)
– Overtime available with the ability to bank additional vacation time!

Responsibilities
– Complete bookkeeping for clients and provide administrative support within office
– Track expenses, budgets, taxes, cash flows, receipts and other financial documents and dealings for organizations that you partner with.
– Be available to provide any financial reporting to clients and ensure that they have the requested information
– Ensure accuracy with processing and tracking documents for clients
– Complete payroll for employees at organizations
– Provide a high level of communication and follow up to clients
– Manage all accounting processes and support organizations with their required financial statements

Qualifications
– Minimum 4-10 years experience in Bookkeeping
– Experience working within an Accounting firm and having exposure to Personal Tax would be an asset
– Ability to act quickly and provide a high level of communication to clients
– Experience using Quickbooks Desktop or being able to adjust well to new software
– Ability to take on additional responsibilities where required.
– Education in Accounting or more specifically related to Bookkeeping would be an asset in this role
– Ability to work independently is required in this position! (Support and training will be provided)
