Job title: Bookkeeper – Direct Hire

Job description: Kelly is hiring a Bookkeeper for a family-owned Sales & Service company in Depew, NY that has been around for over 80 years! This is a Direct Hire Position, 8-5 M-F, and pay will be $18-$22 per hour based on experience. Displayed understanding of Accrual Accounting / Inventory Accounting is a must for this role. No Bachelor’s Degree required – just the right experience! Please note: this is an in-person role with no plans to have a remote option. The company has a secure and safe place of business and is following all Covid related precautions.
Responsibilities:
Oversight of the daily financial flow of the business including identifying, implementing and managing business operations and processes that create efficiency, reduce cost, and increase dependability of the accounting transactions
Manage the company’s financial data and compliance by maintaining accurate books on accounts payables and receivables, payroll, and daily financial entries and reconciliations.
Responsible for recording and maintaining the company’s financial transactions, such as purchases, expenses, sales revenue, invoices, and payments along with assisting in inventory management
Record financial data into QuickBooks using the accrual basis of Accounting resulting in accurate, dependable, and timely Financial Statements
Required:
Stellar customer service internal and external
Integrity and Honesty
Spreadsheet creation with Excel and Google Sheets
Intermediate QuickBooks knowledge
