Job description: Roles & Responsibilities
Managing day-to-day bookkeeping for clients who use cloud-based bookkeeping software. This includes communicating with clients on a regular basis to respond to requests and ensure bookkeeping is always current.
Availability
Between 20-30 hours per week working mostly remotely with the potential for more hours in the future. Exact schedule will be determined based on the availability of the applicant.
Requirements: Qualifications
- Music industry knowledge an asset
- Must be very detail oriented
- Must be able to work autonomously
- Must be comfortable handling 20-25 sets of books
- Bookkeeping related experience and/or education is a must
- Comfortable with journal entries
- Intermediate to advanced experience with Quickbooks Online and willingness to learn the following cloud-based accounting programs:
- Wave Accounting
- Freshbooks
- Sage
- Xero
